Since 2000, Shiang Yang Open Scout troop officiated on 10th September 2000 by Perak State Scout Commissioner, Mr. Shahruddin bin Isa. The objective of establish this troop is to promoting the development of young people in achieving their full potential through physical, intellectual, social and spiritual as individuals and responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
